Generation of Gene-Edited Mouse Models

We provide professional and customized services for generating gene-edited mouse models, assisting clients with various genetic engineering approaches such as knockout (KO), knock-in (KI), and point mutations of target genes. From experimental design and gene editing to the delivery of mature mice, we employ a fully integrated, one-stop workflow to maximize editing efficiency and success rate. This service is suitable for applications including disease mechanism studies, drug development, and functional gene investigations.

Service Description
  • Gene Knockout (KO)

Using targeted gene editing and embryo microinjection techniques, specific gene fragments are precisely removed to generate functional loss models. This approach is suitable for studying gene functions under physiological and pathological conditions and is widely applied in target validation and basic biomedical research.

  • Gene Knock-in (KI)

Exogenous sequences, such as fluorescent reporter genes (e.g., GFP), drug-inducible genes, or larger DNA fragments (e.g., BACs), are inserted at specific genomic loci. Applications include monitoring protein expression, tracking cellular activity, generating humanized animal models, or establishing conditional systems (e.g., Cre/loxP and FLP/FRT) to enable spatial and temporal control in research.

  • Point Mutation

Single-nucleotide variations are introduced at precise genomic positions to model human disease-causing mutations. This strategy is suitable for studying pathogenic mechanisms and supporting personalized medicine development.
